About Us
Alongside our top-quality facilities, our greatest asset is our team of staff. Fully qualified, with experience of working with children with special educational needs, the care and commitment of our team was highly praised in our Ofsted report, and we were delighted to be graded Outstanding at our last inspection. We have places for 94 children aged between three months and five years.
You may hear us referred to as YMCA Charters Nursery, Leavesden Country Park Nursery or Woodlands Nursery as well as our official name which is Charters Day Nursery in Abbots Langley.
Facilities
Our facilities are carefully designed to meet a diverse range of needs. We understand the vital foundation our early year’s facilities play in child development and work hard to create an environment that is stimulating, caring and fun.
Our six rooms cater for all of our age groups, and we have two large garden areas that allow for plenty of outdoor activity. Our setting, within Leavesden Country park, means we have ample park grounds at our disposal, as well as practical features like plenty of free parking.
